We are currently still in Bergen, waiting on our train passes. They are lost somewhere in the postal service, presently being searched for in a warehouse at the local DHL facility. In order to not go stir crazy, we checked into a hostel in a different area of Bergen to see something new. The hostel is located up one of the mountains, surrounded by nature and hiking trails. It is a much nicer hostel than the last one we stayed in -- plenty of spacious sitting areas, wider hallways, better breakfast, and the rooms are nicer. We checked in on Saturday and will be here until tomorrow.

If our passes are found and delivered to us today, there is a soccer match between Barcelona and Copenhagen we're hoping to attend in 2 days! We figure we should be able to cover off at least 12-16 countries by train before we head home for Christmas. Last night, we were looking at all of our plans over the next several months, and realized our finances are dwindling away. After several scenarios of: Do we go home earlier and work until Christmas?.... Do we stay home longer than planned (to work) and come back in February?.... Do we go to Australia sooner to start working?.... We came to the realization that, no matter what we choose, we will be broke when our travels finish, but we'll get to see most everything we wanted to in this year.
Plans until February: Travel by train across Europe (crossing our fingers that our passes get found), attend the ATP Barclay's Tennis World Tour Finals in London, go home for Christmas, take a 21-day cruise to see more of the Mediterranean, ski the Alps for a week, and fly to Australia!

In the meantime, feel free to leave your opinions and suggestions for what we should do if our train passes are forever lost.... :)
We'll keep you posted.
